What exactly was the owner of this tattoo thinking? We imagine his thought process went something like this...

"I know I want a tattoo so that I don't have to worry about being buried in a Jewish cemetery, but what should I get? I could get a tribal armband, but the guy that beat me up in high school already has one of those. I need something different, something that really tells the world what I'm all about. If only I had an interest in the world besides 1980's pop music...

Wait - that's it! I'll get a Michael Jackson tattoo! You would think a guy with a pet bunny named Billie Jean would have thought of this idea sooner.

But what kind of MJ image should I get? This would be so much easier if he was the kind of artist that had some kind of iconic image associated with him. You know, like if he always wore a glove, or a hat, or had a trademark dance move or something. Damn, I guess I'm just going to have to wing it.

Oh, I know - kids! Kids have always loved Michael Jackson's music and his music has always been about uplifting children around the world. I'll get a tattoo of Michael Jackson holding a young boy and it'll be a moving statement about the power of pop music. Perfect.

Now all I have to do is figure out a cool body part to get the tattoo on and ask Mom to loan me 20 bucks..."
