Sometimes Losing American Idol Fans Can Be Winning Idiots

American Idol has been associated with more than its share of idiots over the years from William Hung to Sanjaya, but today's selection comes from the shows biggest pool of idiots - its hardcore fans. In particular, we've found a group of teenage girls who gathered with their signs, hopes, and dreams to celebrate what they thought would be David Archuleta's victory in last season's Idol finals. The only problem? Archuleta lost to David Cook.

What follows is a collection of shrieking, crying, disappointment and pointed criticism of one of this country's great injustices - i.e., "How could they vote for that loser that doesn't shave?" It's almost enough to make you feel bad for the girls when they point out that "Now everybody's going to make fun of us at school tomorrow." Almost, but not really.

At least these future desperate housewives can take solace in the fact that while they may root for a runner-up, they themselves are winners. Winners of today's Biggest Idiots On The Internet title. Congratulations, girls.
