Just Because You Believe In God, Doesn't Mean You're Not An Idiot

Today's Biggest Idiot On The Internet comes to us from Slava, one of our regular readers who emailed us this video from an Atheist public access TV show. The shocking part of this clip is that the hosts of the show are not the idiots. In a twist, the idiot-worthy performance comes from a caller who believes there is a God, but then proceeds to argue against his own beliefs in his call.

HOLY CRAP! I LOVE THE ATHEIST EXPERIENCE! NO WAY!
This is my favorite clip from this show ever.
... COMMENTS!
I must say that I am delighted to be identified as the non-idiot in this clip. I'm slightly less delighted by the fact that this shocks you. Just what are you trying to say here? ;)
Thanks for the highlight...

Fucking brilliant!
I used to be a homeless rodeo clown but now I am a world class magician !
Atheists, despite what they may claim, are essentially no different than religious people. Religion is simply a set of beliefs about the world. Religious people believe in the existence of a higher force (call it God, or whatever you'd like - let's not get into semantics here), while atheists believe that no such force exists. Well, guess what - that too is a belief!

Sure we are. We don't elevate believing in stuff without evidence as a virtue.
Religion is simply a set of beliefs about the world.
Capitalism is a set of beliefs about the world.
Science is a set of beliefs about the world.
"Abolition of slavery" is a set of beliefs about the world.
"Favoring a sports team" is a set of beliefs about the world.
So, really? That's your only criterion for what defines a religion?
